Live Literature from the Heart of Warwickshire!
SUNDAY 4 - 5PM
This week on Stratford Words I'll be talking with Welcombe Radio's very own Mike Took, who apart from being a broadcaster is also a screenwriter and playwright. We'll be touching on his experiences at Cannes and also at the Edinburgh Fringe. And we'll have a wonderful poet, Liz Jolly, to whom we hope to give some much deserved air time.
See you this Sunday 4pm!

Nick Le Mesurier
I've been writing for many years: plays (particularly monologues), stories, and nature writing. Some of my plays have been professionally performed, and I recently produced a music and drama show in aid of The Charterhouse, Coventry.
I have many jobs, but one of my favourites is to write theatre reviews for the Leamington Courier, which allows me to see sometimes three shows a week! Stratford Words is my first foray into broadcasting and I'm loving the challenge of working with writers of all sorts and of creating a show that reflects the wealth of talent in and around Stratford and also introduces a little something extra each week.
