SUNDAY 4 - 5PM
This week we'll be talking about the tricky business of research. Some people love it, some people hate it, but research can sometimes make or mar our fiction. I'll be talking this week with three mistresses of the art: Bren Littlewood who writes crime fiction; Ellie Stevenson and Marg Roberts who have written novels set in specific periods in the past. I'll also have a crime story set in Victorian times by Pam Pattison. So join me on Sunday 18th January at 4pm to find out how these writers bridge the gap between fact and fiction, and to hear some great writing along the way.
Whether you like plays, novels, poetry, short stories, monologues, if it’s using words creatively you’ll find it here! Join us for interviews, what’s on, quizzes, interesting facts, and plenty of readings!
Each week we feature some of the best local writers around, and bringing in others from outside the area to help enrich our wonderful literary culture.
Do get in touch if you have any comments on the show, if you’d like your work considered for broadcast, or if you’d be interested in being interviewed. Our email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org

Nick Le Mesurier
I've been writing for many years: plays (particularly monologues), stories, and nature writing. Some of my plays have been professionally performed, and I recently produced a music and drama show in aid of The Charterhouse, Coventry.
I have many jobs, but one of my favourites is to write theatre reviews for the Leamington Courier, which allows me to see sometimes three shows a week! Stratford Words is my first foray into broadcasting and I'm loving the challenge of working with writers of all sorts and of creating a show that reflects the wealth of talent in and around Stratford and also introduces a little something extra each week.
Busy on the burgeoning live-lit circuit in Leamington Spa and Warwick, author Jacci Gooding is also a participant at The Hawkesbury Upton Literary Festival. A Writing Magazine competition winner and candidate in Birmingham Rep’s Play in a Day programme, Jacci is also self-published in both digital and paper format and writes a regular blog. When not writing fiction, she writes short articles for lifestyle magazines Mayhem! and Town and City.
