Stratford District Reporting
Repeats: Thursday 10am, Friday 10am
Hi, Keith Wedgebury here – known as Wedge.
I was born in Warwickshire but I ended up being educated at Redditch which meant I knew very little about Mr Shakespeare, although I spent most weekends at my grandparents house at Great Alne and then Wilmcote or outside Stratford hospital, visiting my Great Great Grandmother who got to a hundred.
I love radio, I found it a great way to find out what’s happening in the world and a great way to take in some of the important things we need to know in life. I’m actually slightly dyslexic, as those of you who receive any writen communication from me will probably notice. It’s great to be working with Welcombe Radio in my retirement from the BBC.
There's a lot happening out here in the villages and the district that needs a voice; so let's give it one!
I will be presenting a programme each week with contributions from others telling you about life in this great district. So, join me for your contributions about Stratford life.
As they say: "We meet.as strangers but leave as friends."
