The Stephen Marsden Show
FRIDAY 10 - 11AM
I want to share my love of music which spans from the magic sounds of the 1980’s, through the 90’s and right up to today. I enjoy all of it and the background stories of how the music came about. I have wanted to do a radio programme since I was ten years old and community radio is the perfect chance for me to make a start. It is also a chance to meet and work with lots of other people who believe in and enjoy being involved with community projects and events. There are such benefits to be had from stronger community ties.
So please listen in each week as I play classic tracks from the 1980’s through to today’s sounds while talking about local events, life and stuff.
I was born in Banbury 16 years ago at what is left of the Horton Hospital. I have grown up in a friendly atmosphere where both my parents enjoyed music. I am very self-motivated when it comes to media and even though I have been advised to take a different path I was determined to go down that road. I am just your normal 16-year-old battling college and trying to get to grips with a part-time job as well. I’m currently studying at Stratford upon Avon College. Radio has always been a personal hobby and doing my own show has been a goal for a long time. Hopefully in the future I will be able to have a career in broadcasting.
