Penny Keynton-Hook, Peter Keynton-Hook,  two serving members of our forces: Staff Sergeant Frazer Stark, representing the Army and Lance Corporal Robin Barnard representing the RAF, Dominic Skinner Pride of Stratford winner who served five years in the Marines including duty in Afghanistan,  friends of Connecting the Dots: Angela Brown and Louise Brandon.

Gill Cleeve Leader Guides Brownies and Rainbows who served in Canadian army Medical Corp, David Hastie Chair of British Legion and his wife Margret chair of the Women's section of British Legion, Mo Wingate, retiring coordinator of the British Legion Poppy Sellers (raised £60,000 in 2017 from Stratford Upon Avon) and representatives from Men in Sheds: John Petard, Brian Walker, Doug and Reg, all of whom served at some time including, mine sweeping in the 2nd World War and the others in Korea and Suez.

Charlie and James Morrison provided the technical support for what was a celebration of all our military in the past 100 years who served their country and those who still are. We remembered the fallen, injured and reminisced stories of how individuals served. Thank you so much to all who took part.

Welcombe Radio are looking for:

People to help present Becky Foster's programme 'Welcome Families'. A show which is all about helping new parents, any parents, with support for their family. Becky works with the Parenting Project based in Stratford-upon-Avon. If you are interested please contact us via the Contact Us page on the website.

We are also looking for people who are interested in helping Tom Wayworth with his history programme.

 

Nestling at the foot of the Welcombe Hills, Stratford upon Avon is home to Welcombe Radio. The ethos of  Welcombe Radio is to provide a welcoming supportive environment for individuals and groups from the community to broadcast, inform and entertain their fellow community neighbours through the medium of radio.
