EVENTS

Shipston Rotary Victorian Evening

Thank you again to Shipston Rotary Club for inviting us to their annual Christmas Victorian evening last Friday; we had a great time and talked to lots of lovely people. Thank you to everybody we interviewed as well as those we weren't able to fit in - we promise we will in the future. We are editing those interviews and will play them on Welcombe Radio during the Christmas holiday. Please keep checking here for more details closer to the time.

NEWS

Revised programme schedule

We have revised our programme schedule ever so slightly. We have new programmes going live very soon and so we have moved some of the repeat times for current programmes. You can see the changes by clicking on the links in this paragraph or on Programmes in the menu at the top of this page. Of course, it's a work in progress and we will be be steadily filling in the gaps.

THANK YOU

Community Cafe at Foundation House

Thank you to everybody who helped out at or attended the Community Cafe hosted by Welcombe Radio at Foundation House on Friday. As you can see below, we had chocolate cake (and lots of other yummy things) and a presentation from our neighbours in Masons Road, the gentlemen of the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service. All money raised has been donated to the Firemen's Charity.

The Art Show

On this week's Art Show, Sarah talked to artist Rupam Barthakur and musicians Steven Boyer, and Kevin Moffat and Alan Harvey. Penny captured part of the show on video, including Kevin and Alan singing 'Saltwater Rain'.
